About the Department

The department of Loknete Gopinathji Munde Institute of Engineering Education & Research offers four years undergraduate programme in Mechanical Engineering started in Academic year 2011-12 with intake of 60. Further strengthening our academic profile, we have introduced the postgraduate program, M.E. (CAD/CAM), from the Academic Year 2026-27 with intake of 18. The Department of Mechanical Engineering has been committed to providing quality technical education and nurturing competent professionals capable of addressing the challenges of modern industry and society. Our undergraduate programme continues to produce graduates who excel in academics, research, entrepreneurship, and professional careers. The department has well qualified, dedicated staff and is known for its high academic standard.
